It’s been busy two weeks for Act III.  Act III recently announced strategic investment in Honest Greens. Details about the transaction were not available. Honest Greens is 30 locations fast food chains focused on health conscious customers. Act III Holdings announced a strategic investment in Honest Greens, a fast-food chain catering to health-conscious customers with 30 locations.

Just Salad Opens First Drive-Thru Location

Fast-casual chain Just Salad, with over 90 locations, has opened its first-ever drive-thru in Livingston, NJ. This move directly positions the brand against competitors like Cava and Sweetgreen, which have also been expanding into drive-thru market.  If stock value of Cava and Sweetgreen in last couple of years is anything to go by, then this is right decision by Just Salad.

Joe Taylor Elected to El Pollo Loco’s Board of Directors

El Pollo Loco (NASDAQ: LOCO) announced the appointment of retired CFO of Brinker (NYSE: EAT) Joe Taylor to its board. His appointment fills the vacancy when LOCO increased number of board seats from seven to eight.
